A child before Puberty : A Parody

It’s funny to see how the Non-Muslims keep throwing us mud
I asked myself, when could they shut?
Looking at things they definite will not
As they are the most ignorant lot
Why can’t they leave us in peace?
This I figure will not ease
As they are jealous of Muslim a piece *
Forever, they will taunt and tease
Why are they jealous of us?
This I asked!
A definite answer was a must
Lets us look at the thing at task
Just think, in Quran we have the best book
Preserves in its pristine read and look
In Ka’abah we have the best House of Worship
All the best is given to the Muslims without any hardship
And In Zam-zam we have the best of water
Their best is just bottled and filtered!
In the Prophet (pbuh) we have the best exemplar
Now is the picture getting clearer?
We have the best of everything
It should be difficult to make us sink
Now Muslim let us think
What should we be doing?
Our beloved Prophet (saw) was insulted
But why are we getting over excited **
Insulting is their nature –
As defeat is their answer
The best to reply them
Is to look at what Allah has sent!
That is the prophet (pbuh) himself!
What will the prophet do, now ask this yourself? ***
Revenge was never the Prophet’s (pbuh) intention
Peace and loving was his attention
This Muslims should grapple
As to his enemy the prophet (pbuh) answer was simple!****
Now we should react with dignity
Just treat them like a child before puberty
Then our lives will be much more pretty
When we ignore “the petty’ and the ignorance we pitied *****

* Al-Quran 2:120 “And never will the Jews or the Christians approve of you until you follow their religion. Say, "Indeed, the guidance of Allah is the [only] guidance." If you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, you would have against Allah no protector or helper.”
** Step 1: Take it easy! "They are talking about someone else"
Umm Jameel bint Harb, the wife of Abu Lahab, who is mentioned in the Qur'an (Al-Masad 111:4-5), made up some verses of poetry to defame the Prophet by changing his name to "Mothammam" (i.e. the insulted one) as opposed to "Muhammad" (i.e. the praised one). She said verses like:
We disobey "Mothammam",
And refuse his matter,
And reject his religion.
Poetry at that time was THE media, these verses were spread everywhere, repeated by kids and by travelers in the deserts, so it had a huge effect. Umm Jameel's short poem made some companions sad, angry, and helpless, especially in the early days of Islam when they were weak. Here comes the great attitude of the praised one, peace and blessings on him, whom I sacrifice my family and my soul for. He told the companions:
Isn't it amazing how Allah is protecting me from the Quraish's insults? They are cursing and swearing at "Mothammam", and I am "Muhammad"! (Al-Bukhari)
The first step in answering or reacting to any insult against our Prophet, to any act of burning the Qur'an by a bigot, to any tweet or to any YouTube comment is to take it easy, rationalize the situation, don't let your anger lead your steps. In a beautiful hadith, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) redefines strength:
The strong is not the one who overcomes people by use of his physical strength; rather he is the one who controls himself while in anger. (Al-Bukhari)

*** Al-Quran 41: 34-35 “And O Prophet! Goodness and evil are not equal. Counter evil with what is best. You will see that he, with whom you had enmity, has become your closest friend. But none can attain to this quality except those who endure with patience, and those who are people of great good fortune”
**** AL-Quran 7:199 “O Prophet! Adopt the way of leniency and forbearance; enjoin what is good and avoid useless discussion with the ignorant people.”
***** This statement of the Prophet is recorded in the Sahih of Muslim in which it is further reported that the Prophet said to Ayesha: “Be kind and avoid violence and indecency. Kindness makes a situation best and unkindness makes it worst.”
