You must have heard of coronavirus
This virus is spreading fast
Making many sick, people dying
But hopefully it won’t last

Have you heard of these other viruses?

Hate, greed, discrimination
Also jealousy, anger and fear
Even on their own they are deadly
Causing rivers of blood and tears

Look at all the wars taking place
Causing people to flee their homes and hide
These viruses have grown worse and worse
Because people haven’t cleaned inside

The mind and soul have been left unchecked
So these viruses have been given a home
Once they grow, destruction follows
And other viruses are also born

Another virus – arrogance
Just a few drops of this causes inflammation
People think they are better than others
And this leads to discrimination

These viruses cause millions of deaths
And so much suffering for us all
Lets take precautions every day
And not die with these viruses in our souls.
