It took a mouthful of age
to sense that…

a tremendous authority
encompassed
by it’s unpredictability
creates uncertainties
in this complex Universe.

on the other hand
pondering
at these unending mysteries
we realize that knowledge was built on itself
shaping our minds to comprehend what little we can

Our sustenance, fortunately
is independent of
deep natures and meanness
of fellow travelers
even as we learn to balance the two hands.
