As a devout Muslim
I hang my head in shame
when hot heads of my faith
kill innocents in my name
Fueled by urges to avenge
they become downright evil
Is it not just for the devil
that justice means revenge?
Seek justice, not retribution
It’s the right prescription
It can right any wrong-
perceived or prolonged.
