Rebranding Islam

Rebranding Islam
Everytime, it is my prayer - the need to remember,
the need to surrender to Almighty Allah, altogether.
Time and again I failed, biting my fingernails I ponder
what will happen to me in life a yonder?
Rebranding Islam I gather will bring me closer,
closer and closer to the MAKER.
"Innovation!" shouted a brother
"Islam is not a brand, never ever."
Emm, maybe it's time to relook and rethink
the way we portray Islam is fast sinking
Now, rebranding, remaking is the in thing
"Either you are with us or not with us" is a jinx.
Promoting Islam as a lifestyle.
This is definitely not a lie.
What is that? You might ask
Again "rebranding" is the main task.
"Live life as a Muslim"
short, tall, fat or slim
Be proud, join the crowd
Be a Muslim and clear all doubts
How can a non Muslim see this?
our attitudes to them is 'the disease'
hopefully, this will all cease
if we promote Islam the religion of peace
A non Muslim is a brother in humanity
how can we condemn them with all honesty
they will be better than us, becoming a Muslim with integrity
if they choose Islam with humility.
"Remaking Islam" has to be it.
It's not about changing the basic
Al-Quran and As-sunnah will always be in
the real thing is our attitude towards sins
doing wrong requires a skill
we figure that a sin is a mole not a hill
how we differ from Rasulullah and his companions
-the true Muslims of Islamic champions
Lets us sit and think
is rebranding, remaking Muslim a sin?
it is the attitude that needs to be clean
once done the resurgence of Islam is not that gleam
Tamim ad-Dari said that the Messenger of Allah said, "The deen is nasiha (good counsel/sincere conduct). The deen is nasiha. The deen is nasiha." They asked, "To whom, Messenger of Allah?" He said, "To Allah and His Book and His Messenger and the Imams of the Muslims and the common people
