Staying quiet and listening, resisting the urge to interrupt
Instead making the effort to really listen to others

Practicing forgiveness when you feel angry, upset
Keeping yourself steady, and calm, when in pain

Pushing on when you feel down
Knowing this can help the situation improve
And having the courage to give yourself rest
Knowing this is also important

Enjoying those brief moments of silence
And remembering death often
To encourage you to live well

All these require, and give, strength, and peace.
