The Exception Few Stranger!
Stranger in the night*
Get up and fight
In a space so tight
See Allah might
See the light
Oh what a sight!
There is no fright
When everything you do is right
Al-Quran said “(Be) Only the few” **
Take whatever they threw
When we are true
We will not feel blue
The exception too is safe***
From the punishment of the grave
And this is for the brave
As all these are engraved
Now who is the exception few stranger?
All three are out of danger
These characteristics deserved attention
As these are what Allah and Rasulullah mentioned!
Uniquely Muslim faces trials and tribulations
At the end of the tunnel there is jubilation
A definite cause for celebration
As we choose this path without deliberation
But beware, Satan is looking for preys
To lead us astray
Luring to despair
To those caught unaware
And when patience starts to disappear
The world is in fear
No use for your tears
When the truth you jeered
Since the truth and falsehood are never together
Good and evil oppose each other
And know that the world won’t last forever
Coz’ there is life hereafter
So be true to the two****
No buts or ifs too
Only to Allah we sided*****
And that will always make – The exceptional few strangers guided ******

* Ibn `Umar relates that Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) placed his hand on his shoulder and said: “Be in the world as if you are a stranger or a wayfarer.”
Thereafter, Ibn `Umar used to say: “When the night comes, do not wait for the day, and when the day comes, do not wait for the night. Take from your health for your sickness, and take from your life for your death.” [Sahîh al-Bukhârî (7/170)]
** Al-Quran 34: 13 "And only a few of My servants are grateful."
*** Al-Quran 15:39-40 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! because Thou hast put me in the wrong, I will make (wrong) fair-seeming to them on the earth, and I will put them all in the wrong,- Except Thy servants among them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)."
**** During Muhammad's Farewell Sermon atop Mount Arafat after his Last Pilgrimage. According to one version of the narration, Muhammad said:"I have left among you two matters by holding fast to which, you shall never be misguided: the Book of God and the Sunna of His Prophet".
***** al-Quran 3:31 Say (O Muhammad SAW to mankind): "If you (really) love Allah then follow me (i.e. accept Islamic Monotheism, follow the Quran and the Sunnah), Allah will love you and forgive you of your sins. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
****** The Prophet s.a.w. once told Mu'adh, "By Allah you are dear to me! So do not forget to say at the end of each prayer,"O Allah, help me in remembering you, in being grateful to you and in serving You well."
