Wa Ash Hadu Anna Muhammadan Abdu Hu Wa Rasooluhu
''I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah
who is without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) is the Rasool.''
"O Allah, Shower Your Peace come upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as you have brought peace to Ibrahim and his family.
Truly, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. O Allah, Shower your blessing upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as you have blessed Ibrahim and his family. Truly, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious". Iam Satisfied with Allâh as My Rabb and Cherisher,Iam Satisfied With Islam as My Din(religion) and Iam satisfied with Muhammad as a Rasulallah (Messenger)sallallahu alaihi was salam . (This is the Statement of ALLAH in the Quran) ” Surah 60 - Al Mumtahinah - Ayat - 001 O ye who believe! Take not my enemies and yours as friends (or protectors),- offering them (your) love, even though they have rejected the Truth that has come to you, and have (on the contrary) driven out the Prophet and yourselves (from your homes), (simply) because ye believe in God your Lord! If ye have come out to strive in My Way and to seek My Good Pleasure, (take them not as friends), holding secret converse of love (and friendship) with them: for I know full well all that ye conceal and all that ye reveal. And any of you that does this has strayed from the Straight Path.
Surah 60 - Al Mumtahinah - Ayat - 002 If they were to get the better of you, they would behave to you as enemies, and stretch forth their hands and their tongues against you for evil: and they desire that ye should reject the Truth. I declare that ALLAH's Enemies as His Enemies, and I donot take His Enemies as Friends or protectors. (The Dajjal and his followers are the Enemies of ALLAH). And I also Declare that the Believers are the Friends of ALLAH, and I donot take them as enemies.
The Seekers of Knowledge. True Knowledge! true knowledge will governed the Tongue and the actions. one who seeks True knowledge will have to be sincere and have a pure intention in the search for knowledge. and that one should exert himself in acting upon what it necessitates(from right action). For indeed knowledge is a tree and right action is its Fruit. And one can never be considered knowledgeable so long as he doesn't act rightly upon what he has knowledge of. True Knowledge comes with good actions. Sowe do not feel satisfied with right actions so long as you are lacking in Knowlege. Nor feel satisfied with knowledge so long as we fall short of producing good actions. Rather, combine them both, even if your share of the two is small. So a little of true knowledge with sincerity along with goodness in the action is what is most likely to save us in the end, But as for the Lazy and negligent, Lovers of ease and comfort, preferring the easy life and showing indifference to study and research, then the results of these characteristics are detesable and disastrous. Sound Knowledge leads to good action, just as good and sincere action leads to salvation. So if the action falls short of sincere.then the knowledge becomes a burden upon the one who possesses that Knowledge, and also Ignorant can be a grater burden of not knowing, that which is Halal from that which is harama, and takeing ALLAH's mercy for granted. We are living in a time, where the most wicked of men are working to keep the muslims people in Ignorant of what is going on around us! this is the time of the Dajjal! he is among us and he has many followers among the muslim people, they make Salat with us,they Fast as we the Believeing muslim do, but they the followers of the dajjal are the Enemies of ALLAH, Disbelievers pretending to be muslim, they speak the Languages of the muslims people, but they are non-muslim.these Disbelievers want to put out the Light(Nur)of ALLAH,thought corruption and
Wickedness. They have come from every part of the world and they have come from every part of the muslims world with the soul purpose of being the supporters of the Dajjal. The followers of the Dajjal who pretened to be muslim, ,they Alway say God, they donot used the Name of ALLAH! when speaking about ALLAH! To be in favor of Dajjal would, no doubt, summon more serious disasters. Even if the worldly life of these Disbelievers people prospers, their Hereafter life will collapse. Even in this worldly life, the troubles and calamities will not Stop. If there is widespread support for Dajjal in any place, there is an invitation for the Angry and Punishment of ALLAH, calamities like hunger, famine or earthquake. As can be seen, the struggle against Dajjal is not easy. The influence of Dajjal is great and his despotism is fierce; and he will try to silence those who dare to struggle against him. The believer should not lose the sense of struggle and strive as much as he can. Dajjal will not refrain from coercion, tyranny and giving annoyance to make people accept his irreligious ideas. To be able to resist those things one needs to be equipped with strong faith and Knowledge of the Din the words of ALLAH the Qur’an and faith in the Sunnah of Rasulallah( sallallahu alaihi was salam). Seeing that in the end of time,in this time, there is great indifference to islam and to the Sunnah of Rasulallah( sallallahu alaihi was salam). The important thing is to be able to resist Dajjal with faith and Knowledge . Dajjal sees everything materially, he does not accept the existenceof ALLAH, nor the oneness of Allah and His sovereignty and possession of everything from the Heavens to the Earth. and the Dajjal presents himself as divine. Dajjal will not be able to have any authority over the Muslims peoples who denies him as divine and says, “Our Rabb is Allah. We trust in ALLAH alone and we seek ALLAH help against the Dajjal . From the evil of Dajjal, we seek Protection in Allah. The believer should do everything he/she can to struggle against the Dajjal. The believer should never condone his evils. If there is nothing he can do, he is obliged to turn away from it. The believer should not keep silent and refrain from telling the truth lest Dajjal should harm him. the Believer should never abandoning the struggle against Dajjal. TheWords of Allaah Ta’ala :InThe Holy Quran; Bismillah,ir-Rahman,ir-Rahim.
((By Al-'Asr (the time). Verily! Man is in loss, except those who believe and do righteous good deeds, and recommend one another to the truth and recommend one another to patience.))
Ash-Shafiee – may Allaah be pleased with him – said: ‘If all the people reflected over this Soorah it would be sufficient for them.’
The explanation of this is that this Soorah has four levels, and by completing these, a person can achieve the highest goal in being complete.
The first is: Haveing Knowledge of the Din of ALLAH, (Knowing the truth).
The second: his acting upon that True knowledge of Din of ALLAH, (the truth).
The third: Him teaching the Din of ALLAH to others (ones who are deficient in the truth).
The fourth: Being patient in learning the Din of ALLAH,(the truth), and acting upon it, and teaching it.
ALLAH Ta’ala mentioned these four levels in this Soorah, and ALLAH Subhanahu testified in this Soorah by al-Asr (the time) that everyone is in loss, except those who believe and do righteous, good deeds and they are those who knew the truth, and they testified to the truth.
So the above is a level.
They did righteous, good deeds and they are those who performed worship with what they knew about the Din of ALLAH (truth).
So this is a level.
They advise with the truth; they advise one another, teaching and guiding each other.
So this is the third level.
They advise with patience; they were patient with the truth, and they advised each other with patience upon the truth, and to be steadfast.
And this is the fourth level.
This is the end of completeness; indeed completeness is that a person is complete in himself, and completes others. His completeness is by correcting his two strengths, the strength of knowledge and the strength of actions. Correction of the strength of knowledge is with Emaan, and correction of the strength of actions is by doing righteous deeds, and by completing people other than himself, and by learning this knowledge, and being patient upon it, and his recommending with patience upon knowledge and action.
So this Soorah, even though it is brief, is one of the most collective soorahs of the Qur’an for goodness from all its different angles.
Praise be to ALLAH Who has made the Qur’aan sufficient for everything, a cure from every disease, a guidance to all that is good.
All Praise belongs to Allaah, may His peace and blessings be upon our final Prophet Muhammad, his family, his companions and all those who follow his guidance.
the The Knowledge of Din is Enlightenment! The Etiquettes Of The Seeker Of Knowledge.
1 – Patience.
2 – Purity Of Intention In Action.
3 – Acting Upon What You Know.
4 – Always Being Aware That Allaah Is Watching.
5 – Make The Best Use Of Time.
6 – Be Cautious.
7 – Precision & Focus.
8 – Studying Books.
9 – Choosing Companions.
10 – Good Manners Towards The Shaykh. It is obligatory upon the students of knowledge that he should have a complete concern for ‘ilm by taking from its principals in which there is no success for the student of knowledge if he does not begin with it. And they are:
a.) The Noble Qur’aan: It is obligatory upon the student of knowledge to have the desire to read, memorize, understand and act upon it (i.e. the Qur’aan). Because the Qur’aan is the rope of Allah which is everlasting. It is the foundation of knowledge. And the Salaf use to desire [the Qur’aan] with the utmost desire. There are some amazing incidents that are mentioned that relate their concerns for the Qur’aan. You find one of them who memorized the Qur’aan while he was only seven years of age; while some others memorized it is less than a month. And this proofs the concerns that the salaf used to have for the Qur’aan May Allah be pleased with them all. So it is necessary that the students of knowledge should have desire for memorizing it in the hands of the one of the teachers, because the Qur’aan is obtained by a way of meeting [with the teachers].
And indeed it is with regret that you will find some students of knowledge that do not memorize the Qur’aan rather some of them cannot even recite it properly. And this is a big deficiency in the manhaj (methodology) of the students of knowledge. For this reason, I reiterate that it is necessary that the students of knowledge have concerns/desire to memorize the Qur’aan, to act upon it, to call to it, while having the understanding of the salaf-us-Saalih.
b.) The Authentic Sunnah: It is the second source in the Islamic Sharee’ah [besides the Qur’aan]. It is to the Noble Qur’aan a clarifier/explainer. So, it is mandatory on the students of knowledge to combine both of them (i.e. the Qur’aan and the Sûnnah) and to have desire for them as well. And it is upon the students of knowledge to memorize the Sûnnah, [it is done] by memorizing actual texts of the hadith or by studying its chains of narrators, its text and by differentiating the strong [hadith] from the weak [hadith]. Likewise, memorizing the Sûnnah is a way of defending as well as refuting the doubts of the people of innovation. Therefore, it is mandatory upon the students of knowledge that they must comply with the Qur’aan and the authentic Sûnnah…and they are/become for him, meaning the students of knowledge, like the two wings of an airplane. If one of them breaks he is not able to fly. For this reason, don’t maintain the Sûnnah while neglecting the Qur’aan or that you maintain the Qur’aan while neglecting the Sûnnah…Most of the students of knowledge devote their attention to the Sûnnah and it’s explanation, its men, its terminologies with complete devotion. However, if you were to ask [one of them] a verse from the Book of Allah, you will observe that he is ignorant concerning it. And this is a big mistake. It is necessary that the Qur’aan and the Sûnnah should be two wings for you O students of knowledge….” [end of qoute]
Indeed, memorizing the Qur’aan has great virtues both in this dunyaa and akhirah. Also, I advice all the students of knowledge to obtian this book which has a lot of beneficial statements from the Shayk concerning students of knowledge.
*Source: a true knowledge seeker studies and reflects on the Qur’an and Sunnah and learns from Muslim scholars. This is the way of acquiring knowledge of Shari`ah which involves doing acts of obedience, meditating and benefiting from others. A knowledge seeker should read a lot, with the aim of attaining as much knowledge as possible. They should reflect on knowledge and look for answers to unclear matters in trustworthy books of Tafsir (exegesis of the meanings of the Qur’an) such as Tafsir by Ibn Kathir, Al-Baghawy and others, in addition to paying great attention to books of Hadith. Furthermore, knowledge of Shari`ah should be taken from knowledgeable scholars among Ahl-ul-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah (those adhering to the Sunnah and the Muslim main body) and not scholars of ‘Ilm-ul-Kalam (a discipline that searches for answers to creedal issues using logic), innovators in religion or ignorant people.
Listen now and contemplate the verse in the Qur'aan, in
soorat ar-Ra’d (13:17). Allah, the Most High, says:
“He sends down water (rain) from the sky, and the valleys flow according to their measure, but the flood bears away the foam that mounts up to the surface, and (also) from that (ore) which they heat in the fire in order to make ornaments or utensils, rises a foam like unto it, thus does Allâh (by parables) show forth truth and falsehood Then, as for the foam it passes away as scum upon the banks, while that which is for the good of mankind remains in the earth. Thus Allâh sets forth parables (for the truth and falsehood, i.e. Belief and disbelief)”
(Qur'aan 13:17).
In this
aayah (verse), Allah gave a similitude for the knowledge which He bestowed upon His Messenger (?). It is like the rain which He sent down from the sky, because it produces life and benefits mankind in their livelihood, and for the provisions they need in their journey of return to Allah. Then He set the parable of the heart as the valley when He ? said (what means): “And the valleys flow according to their measure.” A big heart accommodates a lot of the knowledge, like a great valley accommodating a lot of rain, and a small heart accommodates little knowledge like a small valley holding little water. That is why He ? said (what means): “And the valleys flow according to their measure.” This is parable of the knowledge when it sets or touches the heart. It takes away from the heart the foam (of false doubts), and it carries it to the surface of the heart, like when He ? said (what means): “The flood bears away the foam that mounts up to the surface.” It does not settle in the valley. Similarly, the false misconceptions when removed by knowledge go to the top surface of the heart where they float and do not settle. Rather they dry out and go away. What settles in the heart is that which benefits it from guidance on truth, as the pure water settles in the valley while the foam washes away.
Then Allah
? set another parable in the same verse:
“And (also) from that (ore) which they heat in the fire in order to make ornaments or utensils, rises a foam like unto it."
This is the ore people use to heat and to melt the gold and silver, copper and iron, in order to take away the impurities contained therein. The impurity is the foam driven out by the fire's heat, and what remains is pure essence. Therefore, in these parables you see two things mentioned:
“And (also) from that (ore) which they heat in the fire in order to make ornaments or utensils, rises a foam like unto it."
(i) the rain which is the water, because of the life therein, its cooling and what it produces from benefits,
(ii) the other is fire, which eliminates and burns.
The verses of the Qur'aan bring life to the heart as the rain gives life to the earth, and it burns away the doubts and the lust and its filth, just like the fire burns what falls in it. In addition, the verses distinguish what is good of the essence as compared to falsehood (the foam), just like the fire takes away the impurities from gold, silver, copper and the like.
Then Allah
? said:
"Thus Allah sets forth parables
(for the truth and falsehood, i.e. Belief and disbelief).”
[Qur'aan 13:17].
We ask Allah
? to make us of those who know and comprehend, and of those who comply and
The Prophet (
sallaAllahu 'aleihi was-sallam) said, "The example of guidance and knowledge with which Allah has sent me is like abundant rain falling on the earth, some of which was fertile soil that absorbed rain water and brought forth vegetation and grass in abundance. (And) another portion of it was hard and held the rain water and Allah benefited the people with it and they utilized it for drinking, making their animals drink from it and for irrigation of the land for cultivation. (And) a portion of it was barren which could neither hold the water nor bring forth vegetation (then that land gave no benefits). The first is the example of the person who comprehends Allah's religion and gets benefit (from the knowledge) which Allah has revealed through me (the Prophet?) and learns and then teaches others. The last example is that of a person who does not care for it and does not take Allah's guidance revealed through me (He is like that barren land.)" [Bukhari, Vol. 1, Book 1, Hadeeth 79].
This Hadith has already been mentioned, and is repeated here to highlight the eminence of knowledge and to induce Muslims to gain it. We learn from this Hadith that there are three categories of people. First, those who acquire knowledge of the Qur'an and Hadith, act upon it and also impart it to others. Such people benefit from this knowledge themselves and extend this benefit to others also. By virtue of this quality they are the best of all. Second, those people who acquire knowledge and impart it to others, but do not fulfill the requirements of that knowledge. Such people are inferior in rank to the people of the first category and can be taken to task for their omissions. Third, those who shun the knowledge of the Qur'an and Hadith. Neither they study and hear the two themselves for their own benefit, nor do they acquire knowledge to impart it to others for their benefit. This is the worst category of people. Every Muslim should try to be in the first category of the people.
