Some thoughts ingrain in us
as we grow
and for some reason don’t leave

Such as how good and bad turns happen
to us
without much of in crafting on our part

Unseen watchers
I was told
keep an eye on all the on goings

Not sure if they have the wherewithal
to prevent a bad turn
when they see it shaping up

I don’t wish the last turn
I experience in life to be bad
as I want to leave with a light heart
